forecast examines territorial fragility and human resilience through six cinematic tableaux exploring our ambivalent relationship to the environment. This hybrid short, between poetic fiction and art film, depicts bodies in crisis — submerged, trapped, suffocated, or wandering — amid landscapes marked by pollution, deforestation, industrial agriculture, drought, and overconsumption.

Oscillating between visual abstraction and sonic realism, the film examines the polysemy of the word “forecast”, anchored in a multilingual soundscape woven from weather reports in French, English, Portuguese, and Japanese. Offering a sensory and polyphonic experience, forecast becomes an introspective journey through ecological anxiety and a reflection on reinventing collective narratives in the face of contemporary environmental crises.
