Liquid Body is a sensory and immersive dance film that explores the vital connection between humans and water. Guided by the movement of a contemporary dancer, the film evokes the great stages of existence — from gestation to metamorphosis — in resonance with the natural cycles of water: from liquid to vapor, from rain to ocean.
Filmed in dreamlike aquatic environments, this poetic work merges dance and cinema to reveal the beauty, power, and fragility of all living things, as well as the constant presence of water within our bodies and across our planet.
An ode to nature and to the memory of water — breath and movement of existence — the film reminds us of the deep necessity to care for this essential source, the mirror of our shared humanity.
