Synopsis

On April 3, 1948, Françoise Sullivan and Jeanne Renaud presented one of Quebec’s first modern dance events at Ross House in Montreal. Among the works presented was Françoise Sullivan’s Daedalus, a solo that would be performed several times by dancer Ginette Boutin. This film version, shot in an urban setting, is testimony to the topicality of the piece.
