Call Me Crazy One More Time

A performance poem by Danielle Vandale, a Métis artist from Saskatchewan, Call Me Crazy One More Time sheds light on the devastating effects of prescription psychiatric drugs: the inability to feel emotions of motherhood and of tragically losing her daughter. Calling out the medical and social services system that Indigenous mothers must navigate all too often without support, understanding or hope, the director calls for a change in the way Indigenous women are treated.
