ALMOST

A short film about missed opportunities and absences that take up all the space; about unexpected falls, splippery subtexts, and opportunities that slip through one's fingers. When the relationship with others (and with oneself) becomes a net with too large a mesh, through which meaning escapes as one tries to grasp it.

PRESQUE is a work constructed from editing, accumulation, and (re)composition of the frame, giving the short film its pronounced pictorial flavor. The image is fragmented, repeated, superimposed on itself, interrupted, or suspended. Kinesthesia takes a singular form: a poetic language that inscribes the notion of choreography on screen in a close relationship with editing. The work is presented in fragments, in a continuous, fluid dramatic ascent.
