AnneBruce was born in Winnipeg in 1967. At the age of 13, she entered The Canadian Royal Winnipeg Ballet’s Professional Program. In 1987, she started her professional career at Contemporary Dancers under the direction of Tedd Robinson. Two years later, she studied under Peter Boneham and participated in the creation of the Dance Lab at “Le Groupe de la Place Royale”. Over the years, she developed a rich artistic relationship with Jean-Pierre Perreault, interpreting and creating the major works of his repertoire. She also built a strong connection to Louise Bédard, dancing numerous full-length works as Ex-libris, a solo constructed to commemorate the 15th anniversary of the company. AnneBruce Falconer has toured the world and has danced for numerous choreographers: Catherine Tardif, Harold Rhéaume, Helene Blackburn, Margie Gillis, Bill Coleman, Dominique Dumas, Charmaine Leblanc, Estelle Clareton and Lynda Gaudreau.
