
Internal Voyage
Philip Szporer is a Montreal-based writer, filmmaker, and lecturer. In addition to two of his dance films, Bhairava and 40, being featured in the Collection Regards Hybrides compendium, he co-directed the National Film Board S3D production Lost Action: Trace (2010), with Marlene Millar and Crystal Pite, along with Theodore Ushev as animator, and the S3D research project Leaning on a Horse Asking for Directions (2014), envisioning a combined media environment for comparative embodiments of BaGuaZhang martial arts, contact improvisation, and contemporary dance choreography.
