Pulse on Earth is a series of fifty very short videodances produced, captured and edited by Philippe Meunier for the Mondial des Cultures de Drummondville from 2011 to 2014.

Synopsis

Over a period of ten days, the videographer sprinted the conception of about fifteen mini-films that were used to present the unique signature of the folk ensembles during the closing Gala of the Mondial des Cultures de Drummondville. The objective was simple: to give access, in the space of a few dozen seconds, to the essence of a culture through the power of a group. Pulse on Earth proposes an approach to international folklore in a contemporary aesthetic, in which traditional roots are the creative force; roots with multiple perspectives that speak to the present.

The series proposed in the Collection Regards Hybrides includes thirteen films curated by the director. A rhythmic work that invites travel and discovery.
