Godlin is an experimental contemporary dance film and stagework series responding to prompts addressing social isolation, the nature of societal human conditioning, the acts of transgressions towards self-actualization, and using reflective witnessing to invoke collective and self transformation.
In this pilot of the 7-part series, the universe was conceptualized around the social political project Soul City, conceived by Floyd McKissick, a former National Director of the Congress on Racial Equality with the United States, as an example of black capitalism.
